     We are a successful and growing distributor of flooring products in DC metropolitan area; we are looking to hire a sales professional to cover Richmond VA.

Job Description:

     Hockstein’s Wholesale Floorcovering is looking for an exceptional Residential and Commercial Sales Representative with a passion for flooring products and the "know how" to work with flooring retailers, architects, designers, contractors and building material suppliers. You will be responsible for selling Hockstein's entire portfolio of flooring products which includes carpet products, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet padding, installation supply and tools within your assigned territory.  We need you to be a true self starter with a successful track record in managing customer territories, achieving or exceeding budgeted sales, and the desire to sell great brands with great products within an appropriate spectrum of price ranges.  If you are a skilled and qualified sales professional who understands what it takes to generate revenue by selling products and faces each day with a "make it happen" attitude, Hockstein’s Wholesale Floorcovering might have the right opportunity for your next career step.

Qualifications:

-  The applicant must have 3 years of sales experience in the Flooring industry;

- The applicant must have specific experience selling to retail stores and building supply centers;

- The applicant must have established base of Flooring Industry clients and leads in the territory;

- The applicant must have an ability to develop new business and maintain/maximize existing business;

- We are looking for a top producer with effective selling, communication and closing skills who is highly self motivated and organized;

- The applicant must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Excel).

- The applicant must have valid driver license and reliable transportation to carry samples.
